Upgrades while we’re there
If the tap is past saving, or you’ve been meaning to swap the vanity, the toilet or the shower head, it’s cheaper to do it in the same visit. We’ll quote the repair and the replacement side by side so you can decide. We also do the plumbing side of kitchen and bathroom renovations, working alongside your builder or tiler, and accessible bathroom fit-outs: grab rails, shower seats, raised toilets and bidet seats, and wall-hung vanities.

Call, or send the quote form with a few photos. We take the details and book a time to look at the job, or quote from the photos if they show enough.

Written quote, usually the same day
We send the quote the day you ask. For common jobs the pricing is ready, and we tell you if a repair will do instead of a replacement.

The job
Non-urgent jobs are usually done within a week. Water or gas is off for the minimum time, and you do not need to be home if we can get access.

Paperwork and tidy up
Gas work comes with a gas safety certificate, and consented work with the PS3, pressure test and as-laid drainage plans the council needs. Then we clean up and invoice.

Kitchen and bathroom repairs: your questions
Is a dripping tap worth calling a plumber for?
Yes. A drip wastes a surprising amount of water, especially hot water, and it's usually a quick washer, cartridge or mixer repair. We'll tell you if the tap is worth repairing or better replaced.
My toilet keeps running.
That's almost always the inlet valve or the flush valve in the cistern. Both are quick fixes. If the cistern itself is cracked or the toilet is old and inefficient, we'll quote a replacement too.
There's a leak and I don't know where from.
Turn the water off at the toby if it's bad, and call us. Finding the source is the first job. We don't do CCTV camera inspections, so for leaks deep inside drains we'll tell you if a camera company is the right next step.
Do you do full bathroom renovations?
We do the plumbing side of renovations, from rough-in to fitting the fixtures, working alongside your builder or tiler. We don't run the whole renovation.
Can you fit grab rails and an accessible shower?
Yes. We've done a number of accessible bathrooms in Hamilton: raised toilets, bidet seats, shower seats and rails, and wall-hung vanities for wheelchair access.
