Privacy

This site is run by Tron Plumbing and Gas, Hamilton, New Zealand. Here is what happens to the details you send through it.

What we collect

When you use the quote form we collect what you type: the job type, what’s happening, your suburb, how soon you need it, any photos you add, and your name, phone number and email. If you leave the form part way through, the steps you completed are kept so we can still follow up.

What it’s used for

Your details are used to quote and carry out your job and to contact you about it. Photos are used to quote the job. Nothing is used for marketing lists, and nothing is sold or shared with anyone outside the business, apart from the services below that run the website.

Where it’s stored

Form entries are stored for 90 days with Cloudflare, which hosts the site, and emailed to us through Resend. Jobs we take on are then recorded in our job management and accounting software (Fergus and Xero). Phone calls and emails are kept the way any small business keeps them.

Analytics and advertising

The site uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (and Google Ads tags once adverts run) to measure which pages and adverts lead to enquiries, and so Google and Meta can show our adverts to people who have visited the site. These set cookies in your browser. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker and the site still works.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email [email protected].
